Birch Grove Community Center had it all on Sunday, October 28—a fishing pond, bingo, cakewalk, food, games and a very scary haunted house. Far left: A Star Wars character and an “Evil Sock Monkey” ready for the cakewalk. Upper left: A ghostly cookie decorator! Lower left: Kids enjoyed playing a special Halloween bingo. Above: Decisions, decisions—where to go next? And which prize to choose? A great time was had by all!
Upstairs at Betsy Bowen’s Studio was a spooky place on Friday, October 26 as the “Save the Mural” committee hosted a Halloween party and fundraiser. Above: A banana and witches—oh my! Left: Goofy Geishas greeted guests to the party. Far right: Werewolves of Grand Marais were on hand for the scary storytelling.
