The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Women got together on May 2 to assemble 40 bags of school supplies to be sent to needy children throughout the world. Church members donated notebooks, rulers, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, scissors, and crayons and the Bethlehem Quilters made the bags, which double as backpacks. Each bag of supplies cost an estimated $35-40. The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Women do one project like this each year.
