Who wants to walk through all that brush? A mamma moose and her two healthy looking twins amble down a creek on their way to finding a nice spot to eat. Baby moose gain on average 2.2 pounds per day and are weaned at six months. Adult moose spend their days grazing, eating leaves, bark, pinecones, twigs, and aquatic plants, as well as resting and dodging predators that consist locally of bears and wolves.
