Every school day the school’s cooks get up at 3:30 a.m. and head off to their work. Once at school they make breakfasts and lunches and then bag them up for more than 300 kids. Once laid out on the lunchroom tables the meals are “bagged and tagged” and from there the lunches are transported by school bus to various locations throughout the county where families can pick them up. Standing in the forefront is Nick, a helper, with school cooks Linda Bockovich (L) and Kelly Roberts in the back caught in a sea of white bags.
