Ever since the murder of George Floyd, a group of as many as 100 people have peacefully protested along Highway 61 by Java Moose for about 30 minutes on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This last Friday a truck purposely blew black smoke in front of the BLM protesters. Authorities caught up to the driver of the truck who said the protesters were yelling at him about his Trump signs so he drove by and directed black exhaust at them. He was warned not to do it again.
