The public response was greater than expected to the offer of free hand sanitizer to local businesses. Jim Wiinanen (L) and his boss, Cook County Emergency Management Director Mike Keyport distributed almost 110 gallons of free hand sanitizer on Tuesday, July 28, at the CCEM Office which is located at the Cook County Community Center. Plans were to give more away on Wednesday but there wasn’t any left after the Tuesday distribution.
