Digging a hole to bury the better part of this boat were Diane Booth and Bob Spry. Diane, who is the Cook County Community Center director, asked for volunteers on a hot June 17 day and Bob came ready to work. The goal was to make a hole big enough to slide the boat into, and then turn it into a play area for little kids who play at the community center park. The project is expected to take several weeks to complete.
