On Wednesday, March 4 Grand Marais PUC workers repaired a broken water main located at 8th Avenue West between 1st and 2nd streets. The break was detected on Sunday through the city’s metering system. A leak detection company from the Twin Cities was called to locate the line break. The city was losing about 100,000 gallons of water per day.
