After a 15 minute battle, Hal Kettunen wrestled this eight-pound lake trout from his fishing hole on a lake located somewhere up the Gunflint Trail. Hal hooked the fish on a one-eighth ounce chartreuse (fire-tiger) jig. Dave Saethre also caught a nice lake trout on this outing, a two pounder that was perfect for the frying pan.
