Noted outdoor photographer David Johnson took this picture of a sleepy lynx recently on a warm sunny winter day. Note the tufted ears on this beautiful cat. Lynx have large padded paws that are great for walking in the snow and long whiskers on their face. Lynx are good swimmers and good climbers. Their favorite food is snowshoe hare.
