The two were just a few of 50 or so members of the public that came to celebrate the International Day of Peace in the Grand Marais Harbor Park. A march was held and speeches made. A smiling John Morrin, pictured behind Olya, was one of the featured speakers at the event that was held Saturday, Sept. 22. The International Day of Peace was created by a resolution from the United Nations in 2001.
