The Cook County job fair held March 29 at the high school drew hundreds of prospective job seekers. The high school gym was filled with dozens of booths staffed by area businesses and government agencies looking to hire. Many businesses were on hand eagerly looking to hire workers both year-round and seasonally for the upcoming summer tourist season. Bruce Zimpel was the lucky winner of the Lenovo 8-inch tablet that was given away in a drawing at the end of the job fair. Cook County Chamber of Commerce Director Jim Boyd flanks Zimpel on his right and CCHS counselor Kris Hoffmann is on his left.
