The kids on this float brought smiles to the crowds of people who attended the Friday, November 24 Christmas parade. Thirteen floats were entered in the Christmas parade this year with the following winning awards: Stone Harbor was named Best Scandinavian float; Cook County Towing won Best Holiday Spirit; and the Wunderbar won the Best Overall Float. Lutzen Reflections was titled Cutest Entry. Other entries included Fireweed Bike Co-op, Ruby’s Pantry, Gunflint Mercantile, Cub Scouts, Ben Franklin, Voyageur Brewing, Grand Marais fire department, Putt ’N Pets and the American Legion Color Guard.
