Cook County I.S.D. 166 principal Adam Nelson, seen here operating the bobcat as he and Dr. Bill DeWitt helped prepare the elementary school playground for the opening of school this August, has been offered the superintendent position at Wrenshall School District, I.S.D. 100. The offer came on Monday, November 20, when the Wrenshall school board voted to hire Mr. Nelson. Nelson has yet to submit a written resignation to the I.S.D. 166 school board, but following that, a special school board meeting will be held to discuss how the district will move forward if Mr. Nelson accepts the proposal. Wrenshall would like Mr. Nelson to start January 2, 2018.
