Following the cocktail hour at Papa Charlie’s and music by Gordon Thorn, the 8th annual Visit Cook County and Cook County Chamber Fall Gala awards were presented to, from left: Barry Pederson, Baiers Heeren, Dustin Hanson and Jan Sivertson. Pederson and Hanson, owners of North Shore Waste, won for Community Business Leaders of the Year. Heeren received the Entrepreneur of the Year award and Sivertson, owner of Silverton’s Art Gallery, won Community Business Leader of the Year. See more of the Annual Fall Gala on page B2.
