In the wake of the racial violence and death that occurred recently in Charlottesville, North Carolina a group of about 50 people gathered at Harbor Park in Grand Marais on Saturday, Aug. 26 and conducted a Charlottesville Vigil. The vigil was called by Spirit of the Wilderness Church, Congregational Church, and Arrowhead Indivisible. Attendees gathered to “reaffirm our community’s commitment to peace and love.”
