Ruby Hawsen plays on the jungle gym while Natalia Smith and Kelly Hawsen (Ruby’s mom) rake out the chips for the Sawtooth Elementary refurbished playground. Principal Adam Nelson and Principal Bill DeWitt worked alongside a team of volunteers to move and evenly distribute 4-5 semi loads of wood chips donated by Hedstrom Lumber last Friday, August 25. The playground is now bigger than it was before and quite a few pieces of new equipment have been added to it, making it a great place for kids to get some exercise and have a lot of fun.
