The North Shore Federal Credit Union held its Annual Member Appreciation week recently. Serving up hot dogs and brats were, from left, Tanya Eliasen, Sissy Lunde, and Emily Arnold. Over the course of a week drawings were held for prizes, and someone who took part in Hunger Heroes won $500. Donations to Hunger Heroes raised $6,900 for July. Those funds are distributed to Ruby’s Pantry, the Kids Backpack Program and the Cook County Food Shelf. All of the North Shore Federal Credit Union locations (Two Harbors, Silver Bay and Cook County) took part in the Hunger Heroes program.
