Despite the rain, at least 87 people turned out for the Equity March for Unity and Pride in Grand Marais last Saturday. Marches were held around the country to promote support and to bring attention to those in the community who are targeted due to immigration status, ethnicity, skin color, gender, and disability. The sign carried by this marcher said it all, “Welcome Neighbors!”
