Cook County’s first annual job fair was held in the CCHS gymnasium on a cold, snowy, icy Thursday, March 23. According to one of the organizers, Cook County Chamber of Commerce Director Jim Boyd there were about 50 booths filled with information, handouts, pictures and job applications for the people in attendance to peruse, and hopefully, catch their interest. Boyd said the event went well, but added, “We will improve it next year.” Pictured are Bonnie Muus and Gwen Mattice of Naniboujou Lodge.
