Judging by the extreme joy shown here by the Cook County High School volleyball team, going to the state volleyball tournament two years in a row isn’t getting old. Not that it ever would be. The Vikings dominated the Section 7A tournament championship match against Deer River by winning three straight games by the identical scores of 25-16. Pictured here holding the trophy high is senior middle hitter Emily Jacobsen who is surrounded by her joyous teammates. Go Vikings!
