Mark Adams designed and built this post and beam building at the Hovland Town Hall. When it is completed it will serve as the community picnic shelter for the new playground and park that is located on the east side of the town hall. The picture shelter and playground have been in the planning stages for years. Recent improvements to the town hall include painting the building, installing new playground equipment, and leveling the ground where the kids will play. Several informational meetings hosted by east end county commissioner Frank Moe have also been held at the town hall—there has even been some talk of renewing the former Hovland Community Club as a way to bring the community together.
