Vendors offered locally grown and produced foods including maple syrup, a bounty of fresh vegetables, herbs, homemade pasta, bread, cakes, cookies, and wild rice. Strawberries grown by the Wilson family of Hovland were a crowd favorite, and sold out by 4:30! This new foodonly farmer's market will run every Thursday from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Community Center through August, and possibly later into fall. Anyone interested in selling local foods is encouraged to contact Diane Booth at the Community Center at 387-3015 or Kristin Wharton at Sawtooth Mountain Clinic at 387-2330.
