Last year, Birch Grove Community School students were invited to the US Forest Service Tofte District office to a lunch and tree planting in honor of the Superior National Forest’s Centennial celebration. The students had a great time doing this, and now their efforts on that day are engraved in granite in the front of the building next to the Gitchi-Gami Bike Trail. The Birch Grove Community School students were delighted to be included in the celebration!
