The Cook County Chamber of Commerce met for its annual meeting at the GunFlint Tavern on Wednesday, June 4. Chamber members, past and present, were in attendance to hear the latest about the business climate in Cook County. An interesting presentation on the soon-to-be open Voyageur Brewing Company was given by entrepreneurs Mike Prom and Paul Sporn. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources representatives Joe Russell and Kevin Johnson gave an update on the progress of the Gitchi-Gami Bicycle Trail. And all enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the Tavern.
