Spring fever to the extreme. This group of kayakers—dressed in dry suits and life vests—ventured out kayaking on Lake Superior on Friday, April 18. Guided by local photographer and guide Bryan Hansel of North Shore Expeditions, the group floated amongst the ice in the Grand Marais harbor. Here, they ventured onto an “ice cake,” which is smaller than an actual iceberg. The friends are (L-R) Katie Forseth Katzner, Michelle Forseth, Aaron Katzner and Jeffrey Forseth.
