Several fire departments worked together to extinguish a car fire at the Grand Marais Fire Hall on Saturday, March 29. Firefighters with the Grand Marais, Maple Hill and Tofte fire departments worked together to not only put out one car on fire, but two. They also used extrication equipment on another wrecked car. What was the cause of the disaster? It actually wasn’t a disaster, it was training for the current students in the Firefighter I and II course. See more about the firefighter training on page A3.
