More than two months have passed since the investigation by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) into the circumstances surrounding Cook County Attorney Tim Scannell’s relationship with a 17-year-old was completed and the information was turned over to Special Prosecutor Thomas B. Heffelfinger for review. And, as one of the protestors who have been picketing the courthouse since the news of the relationship broke noted on her protest sign, it has been 197 days since the news of a restraining order against the county attorney broke. WCCO television from Minneapolis visited Cook County on Wednesday, June 19 to see if there was any activity in the case.
