The building, most recently home of Superior North Outdoor Center (otherwise known as the bike shop), was torn down Friday, August 21, 2009.
Photo courtesy of Erik W.L. Anderson Several days later, the spot looked like it had always been a parking lot. Owned by Sid Backlund, it is part of a city lot for sale through Backlund Realty. Some remember shopping for agates there at the Alley Agate Shop about 40 years ago.
