The 19th Annual Sportsmen’s Banquet hosted by the North Shore Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society was held Thursday, September 8 at the American Legion in Grand Marais. In addition to a great dinner and information about Ruffed Grouse Society activities, there is a fabulous live auction and raffle drawings. Gun winners were (L-R, front) Tony Everson, Lynden Blomberg (youth raffle BB gun winner), Virginia Palmer, Hal Kettunen, Pat Cheney of Cable WI, who won his gun as high bidder in the live auction. (L-R, back) Dana Johnson, Jason Hill, Melvin Gagnon, Scott (Emit) Bystrom and Randy Spry from Superior Lumber, the grouse society sponsor winner.
