We received two photos of this unusual deer at Cascade State Park in March—one from Pete and Deb Kleinman and this one from Paul Sundberg. According to Cascade Park Manager Katie Flitsch, the deer has been hanging around the park for two years now. Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Specialist Dave Ingebrigtsen said it is a piebald deer. The unusual coloring is probably due to a rare genetic disorder that is unlikely to be passed on.
