Performing with Spell It in German are Sara Warren, Mara MacDonell, Max Simonowicz and Karl Ingebrigtsen (not pictured) at a concert at The Garage in downtown Grand Marais on Friday, March 4. The performance was the finale of the eight-week Community Youth Guitar Project and Garage Band Performance Project. There was standing room only and the bands raised the roof to the delight of a cheering audience. The program featured two bands, 20 Car Pile Up and Spell It in German. The members of 20 Car Pile Up are Sean MacDonell, Nate Carlson, Dylan Deschampe, Noah Roth, Will Seaton, and Andrew Thompson. Spell It in German members are Cece Schnobrich, Sebastian Schnobrich, Bjorn Johnson, Mara MacDonell, Kieran Scannell, Sara Warren, Max Simonowicz and Karl Ingebrigtsen. Not pictured are band photographer Owen Hoglund, and band graphics artist Maddie Young. The program was a joint project of Todd Miller, the North Shore Music Association, Cook County Community Education and a grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council.
