The Maple Hill Community Fire Department in their new turnout gear. The new gear was purchased as a result of a $38,396 FEMA Fire Grant award. This replaces old turnout gear that was over 10 years old and no longer in compliance. The primary goal of the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and nonaffiliated emergency medical service organizations.
