American Legion Post 413 Auxiliary President Edie Mattson had a lot of fun last week, spreading holiday cheer for the auxiliary. The auxiliary gave a total of $1,600 of Christmas contributions to the community. To Gwen Lenz at the Cook County Food Shelf, Mattson presented a check for $500. To Director Bev Green at the Grand Marais Senior Center she gave a check for $350. To the Cook County Hospital Auxiliary, a check for $350 was presented. A stop was made at the North Shore Care Center to donate $350. And above, Mattson gives a check for $200 to North Shore Federal Credit Union Manager Tanya Eliasen for the “Merry Christmas for All” program.
