The North Shore Visitation Center is pleased to announce that the Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation awarded the local organization a $10,000 grant for the coming year. The North Shore Visitation Center, in its third year of operation, provides supervised time between children and their visiting parents. These visits are usually court ordered through child protection or domestic violence proceedings. The North Shore Visitation Center also offers a safe place for separated or divorced parents to exchange their children for family visits. The Visitation Center operates in both Grand Marais and Tofte.
