The power of Lake Superior is on full display here. Taken a while ago, Paul Sundberg captured a giant wave crashing into the lighthouse. Sundberg said he was photographing large waves for about two hours. When this one hit, Paul noted, “Commercial fishermen talk about the three sisters when referring to waves and this one came in as the third wave of the three sisters. Two big ones hit the lighthouse in a series and then this monster was the third.”
