John (Jake) Jacobsen shows off this whopper lake trout he caught in one of his favorite lakes. The lake has a name, but Jake couldn’t remember it, just that this frozen body of water is located somewhere in Cook County, and it is surrounded by evergreen trees. Jake’s lake trout was 29 inches long and weighed 8-1/2 pounds. He pulled it through the ice on Saturday, March 6, 2022.
