This handsome bull moose looks healthy and happy. However, as the winter wears on and snow piles up and extreme cold hovers over the Northland, moose will start to suffer because of a lack of nutritious food to eat. Deer even have it worse because they can’t move through deep snow as well as moose can. Let’s hope for a break in the cold and snow for the animal’s sake. Ours too, for that matter.
