A female Northern Cardinal brightens up a snowy winter day. When asked about the beautiful bird, Jean Brislance was quick to respond, “We have had a pair here at our Lutsen place since late November, and they are still hanging around with us. Cardinals aren’t especially common here this far up the North Shore, so we have been enjoying their presence this winter.”
