Opening this weekend is the hilarious new production of the Grand Marais Playhouse. Play On! by Rick Abbot debuts August 27 at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts. Directed by Michael McHugh, this light-hearted spoof of community theater is sure to please the crowd. Caught on stage in an uproarious moment are (L-R) Aliya Weisburg, Kevin Kager, Julie Fredlund, Jeff Fenwick, Brianna Borka, Nathan Borka, Molly Hicken, Tess Bailey and Erin Larsen. The play runs August 27 – 29 and Sept. 2 – 5. Sunday, August 29 is “donation at the door” for admission. Tickets for the other shows are $12 for adults and $7 for children under 18.
