A red fox looks to be on the hunt as it makes its way through sugar snow. During the winter the red fox grows a thick tail that it wraps around its body to keep warm in the cold. A fox will also grow thick fur on its paws. This help to insulate them from the snow and it also helps them stay upright on slippery surfaces.
