With a lack of wild berries this summer bears are especially hungry as they try to fatten up for winter hibernation. That said, bears have been on the lookout for any garbage they can get into as they search for food. Keep your garbage stored away of you will likely encounter a big mess left by a hungry bruin like the one above.
