The Son’s Rays performed at the Lutheran Bethlehem Church over the Fisherman’s Picnic Sunday, coming together for a joyful 50th reunion. Dode Stoskopf (center next to lady in orange) once again led the singers just as she did when she formed the group many years ago. Dode reported that the offering that was received Sunday was $1400. “The love of Christ will shine through as we share our faith and finance. it will be used in helping the Domestic Abuse Program in Cook County, the Community Library in Chaguanas, Trinidad where the Rays were hosted so well, and the Recovery Alliance Group for Recovery and Healing Duluth headed by Cook County born Beth Buckman Elstad,” said Stoskopf.
