This wide-eyed fuzzy creature is a great horned owl chick. Paul Sundberg said the chicks were starting to leave the nest and, “I found this one on the ground. Mom was up in the tree with the other three chicks and this chick puffed itself up to try and frighten me away. I took a couple of quick photos and left them alone.”
