With a large group of family members cheering for him at Lester Park, Joey Chmelik ran a strong race, completing his first full marathon this past weekend at Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth. The former Cook County High School cross country standout crossed the line in three hours, two minutes, and nine seconds. While he was hoping to break three hours, Joey was happy with the results of his 26.2-mile run.
