For the 2021 Cook County High School graduates, things were looking up once they received their diplomas. That, and Assistant Principal Mitch Dorr was standing on the roof above the Eagle Door entrance, wishing the kids well as they embarked on their future. Following a few key words, Mr. Dorr instructed the kids to move their tassels and then throw their caps heavenward. And for once, everyone listened and was happy to comply with the assistant principal’s wishes.
