The Grand Marais Art Colony is pleased to welcome Gary Atwood to its team as the Art Colony marketing and volunteer coordinator. Art Colony Director Amy Demmer said, “With this addition, our new open hours are seven days a week, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. “Feel free to drop by and meet the staff, check out our studios and pick up our 2010 Course Catalog.” The new staff member and hours are due in part because of grants from the Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation and the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council (ARAC).
