Meet Franklin and Dora, two Eurasian turtles that live with Stephen and Dominique Holz in Istanbul, Turkey. The turtles are about 18 years old and live in a beautiful garden. Franklin, who may be a girl, has a gentle personality and likes to take naps in the shade of the lavender bush. When Dora sees a visitor, she rises up on her legs and runs to greet them. She likes to chase cats too. Franklin and Dora love to eat cucumbers, lettuce, and strawberries! Photos by Stephen and Dominique Holz
