Pet of the Week

Makwa (Anishinaabe word meaning “Bear”) is a ten-week-old Tibetan Mastiff owned by Charity and Devon Topp of Grand Marais. When Makwa is full grown he will weigh about 180 pounds. “Makwa loves the snow, and he loves the farm animals,” said Charity. The Topps have chickens, ducks, and goats…and a big lovable puppy who adores them!
