Pet of the Week

This is Harper, a rescue dog adopted by Maggie Barnard through Ruff Start Rescue. Harper, also known as Houdini, likes to escape from her fenced-in yard area. One day she ran away and caught a ride into town with some nice people in a convertible sports car. Harper ended up in “doggie jail” (the city pound) and was reunited with Maggie a short time later. Harper has grown very comfortable in her senior years; she likes to take naps and enjoys visits with her cat cousin Chloe. Photo by Maggie Barnard
